Mereside Disc Golf Course is a free to play 18 hole course on the east of Shrewsbury (Shropshire) set around a glacial mere.  There are 9 baskets played from 18 tee positions with holes ranging from 43m – 198m.

The course layout was redesigned in 2019 to avoid the areas of the park that are used more frequently by the public, which could result in long delays.  Whilst the new layout does have extensive fairway crossovers, it offers a more varied set of challenges and is perfect for experienced players looking for a casual round that will test their skills.

The course address is SY2 6LH where you will find a free car park next to the 1st tee.  Tees are being installed during 2020, although there are restrictions on what is allowed in the park, so please get in touch if you want to play and we’ll give you the tour!

The park is open for play 24/7/365.

Weekends and evenings can get busy with members of the public using other facilities on the park, and dog walkers frequently use the area.

Mereside is free to play!

Please exercise caution on holes 3 and 6 as you are driving along public paths.  Placing a spotters near the basket is advised to minimise risks.

Holes 7 and 9 are driving towards a basket close to a children’s play area. Please avoid playing these holes if there are people in the play area.
